Muscle Movement

Start your day with 3o minutes of live Zoom muscle movement. Let the class be the strong start to your day -- without the trip to the gym. Each class session is designed to gently wake up, warm up and cool down your body.

We begin a centering intention to set the tone for the practice. Followed by:

1. Movement to wake up & warm up your body

2. A muscle movement practice

3. Finishing with a few moments of gratitude to make a complete, well-rounded movement class and to set the tone for your day

Resources recommended: stationary chair (folding chair is great; no wheels for safety) yoga mat, light hand weights (2 lb., 3 lb., 5 lb. your choice) or toning balls, hand towel. Non-skid shoes may be worn.

Time: 8:00 - 8:30 am PT / 11:00am ET

Dates: Monday to Friday, Dates vary each month (I still work a "day job")

Location: Your comfy home + Zoom = THE perfect setup

Ability Level: All levels are welcome. Your video can be on or off—totally your call.

HOW IT WORKS:

1. Download Zoom (super simple)

2. Sign up on the schedule page (right here)

3. Get your link in the confirmation email (plus a reminder 15 mins before class starts)

4. You’ll be admitted from the “waiting room” at the time of class.

5. Your video can be on or off. All participants will be muted when class begins. Practice along and enjoy.

*Life happens – parenthood, colds, or chaos might cause last-minute cancellations, but I’ll keep you updated via email.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR ~ JOSIE

Josie Hansen is a Registered Nurse, certified yoga teacher, medical massage therapist, energy practitioner and a women's health advocate with 30+ years of experience in the healthcare, wellness and fitness industry. Over her multi-decades of work she has witnessed the devastating effects of stress, trauma, grief, and lifestyle choices. As witness to these experiences, they motivated Josie to delve deeper into the power of daily movement practices, strength-building, nutrition, mindfulness, and self-care.

Now, in this stage of life, she has become dedicated to helping women 50+ to navigate life and health with more confidence, strength, grace and knowledge. 

Now it is time for you to benefit from what I have learned on this path.
